Referring to a correspondence I had recently the honor to hold with Your Excellency on the subject of the peryment of the Police Force employed for the protection of the Naval Stores at Hongkong, I have the honor to inform you
that the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty have agreed to pay the expense of the Police hired for the care
the care of the Naval Storehouses as a temporary measure, so long as pickness prevents
